Queen Elizabeth II let Prince Andrew wear the same red shoes Prince Harry and Princess Charlotte also wore.

In this rare photo shared on Instagram, Queen Elizabeth II can be seen sitting on the stairs while looking adorably at little Prince Andrew, her favorite son. The Duke of York is wearing matching collared shirt and shorts with white socks and red shoes.

Prince Andrew’s red shoes were very similar to what Prince Harry and Princess Charlotte wore before. Princess Diana made Prince Harry wear the footwear when he was still a kid. The Duke of Sussex was photographed walking with matching blue shirt and shorts. Just like Prince Andrew, in the snap, he wears white socks and red shoes.

Kate Middleton also let Princess Charlotte wear the same footwear. The Duchess of Cambridge was photographed carrying her only daughter who was wearing a pink floral dress, white socks and red shoes.

The cute footwear was reportedly Prince Harry’s favorite and he can be seen wearing the pair in different official portraits. According to Kate Taylor, Princess Charlotte’s red shoes were actually hand-me-downs and they were the same pair Prince Harry wore when he was a kid.

“Even though we think of Mary Jane-style shoes like these as being exclusively for little girls, Prince Harry looks about as masculine as a little boy can be in his little shoes!” Taylor wrote.

It isn’t new for the royal princes to wear girl shoes. When Princess Diana was still alive and Prince William and Prince Harry were still kids, she also let them wear white socks and a pair of Mary Jane shoes. Both the Duke of Sussex and Duke of Cambridge were seen wearing this type of footwear in different shades, black and red, when they were still little.

In related news, netizens felt that Prince Harry disgraced Queen Elizabeth II with his recent statement about the environment. In an interview with consevationist Jane Goodall, the Duke of Sussex said that he only wanted two kids due to overpopulation and for the environment. However, the netizens were irked and called him a “hypocrite” because he doesn’t walk the talk.
