Queen Elizabeth recently stepped out in public for the first time after Prince Andrew gave his controversial interview last week.

During her outing, Express reported that Her Majesty looked lonely while riding her horse. The 93-year-old monarch, who is reportedly isolated, was accompanied by one equerry.

The Queen wore a dark blue coat and a yellow and purple headscarf in Windsor. The last time that Her Majesty was spotted riding her horse was months ago.

While speaking with The Sun, a source revealed that the Queen is currently under strain. Other than Prince Andrew’s controversial interview, she is also worried about Prince Philip, who took a bit of a wobble in Sandringham.

“But now her problems are piling up, both inside and outside the family. She’s trying to hold a country together post-Brexit and the Scottish independence referendum. And now the crisis over Prince Andrew follows all the heartache over her grandsons. It’s certainly going to be a strange Christmas for her — and does she really deserve this after all she’s done?” the source said.

Meanwhile, the Queen was also affected by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s recent interviews. The couple announced last month that they have decided to file a lawsuit against a slew of British publications. Prince Harry also indirectly confirmed his feud with Prince William. And Markle said that the practice of having a stiff upper lip is dangerous.

The Queen has not reacted to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview publicly. But Royal commentator Phil Dampier claimed that Her Majesty was deeply worried and concerned about the royal couple.

And earlier this month, it was also announced that Prince Harry and Markle will be celebrating Christmas in the United States. Royal expert Ingrid Seward said that the Queen is most likely hurt by the couple’s decision, but she’s trying to pretend that she’s not.

“I think it’s sad they don’t want to be part of the family gathering, particularly now that the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are in their dotage. The Queen might be a little hurt but she’s far too gracious to ever let it show or be known,” she told Express.
