Queen Elizabeth II still rides horses.

The Queen was photographed riding horses on Monday. She enjoyed a horseback ride around the grounds of Windsor Castle after an emotional Remembrance Weekend.

Her Majesty wore a long navy coat, head scarf and sunglasses during her outing. She was accompanied by Head Groom Terry Pendry, People reported.

Queen Elizabeth II’s love for horses is not a secret. She was given her first horse when she was just 4 years old. She never outgrew her fondness for horses and even attends the annual Windsor Horse Show. She also gets spirited when watching horse races like Royal Ascot.

In April, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip were spotted riding horses separately. The monarch enjoyed a morning ride on her Felly pony. Pendry joined the monarch while the Duke of Edinburgh enjoyed a carriage ride with two stablewomen.

Queen Elizabeth II’s love for horses was passed down to her daughter Princess Anne and granddaughter Zara Tindall. The Princess Royal was asked recently if she still rides horses and she said she does while referencing to her mom who still enjoys the same activity at 93.

“Oh, I ride when I’m at home yes. When you say if I’m still riding, Her Majesty is still riding so come on! I’ve got a year or two to go,” Princess Anne said.

In related news, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles were reportedly worried about Prince Harry. Several said that the Duke of Sussex appeared sad and miserable after he married Meghan Markle. To make matters worse, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex face non-stop scrutiny from the press and netizens.

“On many occasions he has also seemed to be a shadow of himself: miserable, tense, sulky and even emasculated. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly why, but perhaps all the changes Meghan has encouraged him to adopt have temporarily made him no longer feel quite himself,” royal expert Angela Levin said.

“He is emotionally vulnerable and has no wish to contradict a charismatic and extremely determined wife. I have been told from an insider that both the Queen and Prince Charles are very worried about him.”

New reports said that Prince Harry and Markle hurt the Queen again by snubbing her Christmas invitation. The Sussexes are reportedly planning to spend the holidays in the U.S. with Markle’s mother Doria Ragland.
