Queen Elizabeth Shares Adorable Throwback Photo With Queen Mother To Commemorate Mother’s Day

Queen Elizabeth paid tribute to the Queen Mother last weekend.

The Royal Family shared a throwback photo of the Queen and the Queen Mother holding on to their hats as they arrive at Westminster Abbey to attend a wedding. In the snap, the two female royals are smiling from ear to ear.

“Mothering Sunday is a chance to thank and celebrate all mothers and caregivers, wherever they may be. Today may be a different and difficult day for those who would usually plan to spend time with their mothers, as we adapt to the necessary changes and disruption to our normal routine and regular patterns of life. But for all Mums everywhere, we are thinking of you, and wish you all a very special #mothersday,” they captioned the snap.

Royal fans also greeted the Queen and her late mother on Twitter after seeing their adorable photo online.

Meanwhile, the Queen also made headlines after it was revealed that she was once heard using a curse word in front of guests. Veteran actor Blessed had a light-hearted chat with Her Majesty at Buckingham Palace years ago where he suddenly cursed.

The Queen hilariously mimicked him by saying the same curse word that he used.
