Queen Elizabeth Told ‘Favorite Grandson’: ‘Don’t Stand In Front Of Me’

Queen Elizabeth II reportedly told off her favorite grandson.

Last Saturday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle held their son Archie’s christening. The Queen missed the event, but she was reportedly present at all of her grandchildren’s baptism.

In 1992 BBC documentary “Elizabeth R,” the Queen and the other members of the family were filmed to celebrate Princess Eugenie’s baptism. Princess Diana, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, Prince Edward, Queen Mother, Princess Margaret, Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips were all present.

However, a younger Peter is caught on camera getting confused as to where he should place himself. So he goes ahead and stands in front of the Queen.

Queen Elizabeth II found his actions hilarious and went on and told him, “Don’t stand in front of me!“

Meanwhile, Prince Harry is seen running around with the Queen telling him, “Don’t go away! Don’t go away! Stay right here!”

There are different opinions when it comes to the Queen’s favorite grandchildren. According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, the Queen is closest to the Princess Anne’s children Peter and Zara. While some believed that her favorite is one of Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ sons Prince William and Prince Philip.

“I think the Queen is closest to Zara and Peter as they were her first grandchildren and have always been the favourites,” Seward said.

Meanwhile, Christopher Andersen said that Queen Elizabeth II’s favorite grandson is Prince William. In his book “William and Kate: A Royal Love Story,“ Andersen wrote and said that the Queen have accepted Kate Middleton long ago before even they got engaged.

Queen Elizabeth II was reportedly convinced that Middleton is the “suitable mate for her favorite grandson.“ The public was unaware that Her Majesty was secretly rooting for Middleton to be Prince William’s wife.

E! News royal correspondent Melanie Bromley said that the Queen is closer to Prince Harry. According to her, Queen Elizabeth II’s relationship with Prince William is “half family and half business” because the Duke of Cambridge is the future king, so she has a more relaxed and fun relationship with the Duke of Sussex.
