On Tuesday, Queen Elizabeth turned 94 as she celebrated another birthday. Each year due to a "temperamental" thing, the monarch observes the important event on two days, which leads to festivities that extend outside of what she does with Prince Philip, Prince William, and others. This year, Her Majesty's birthday is also being honored in an unexpected way thanks to a new collection of royal edition handbags from her favorite purse brand.

Launer, a company that prides itself on "producing the very finest in understated luxury in handbags," debuted the new line as a tribute to the Queen's 2020 birthday.

The new collection features three unique designs, which are called The Lucia, The Judi and The Encore. Each bag is created in a shade of blue, which is a color that the royal has worn on many occasions over the years for a specific reason. According to the brand, the new offerings, which can be seen below, are "a fitting tribute to honour the occasion."

The Encore, which is in the color of Ultra Marine, is made out of leather and suede. As stated by the listing, the style "captured the imagination of the world's most famous Italian designers" when the member of the royal family started carrying it in 2001 while in Milan. Each of the handmade purses retails for $1,886.

The Judi features a range of colors, including Cobalt Metallic, Capri Blue, and Light Blue (Patent). Additionally, there are also gold embellishments to contrast with the blue bag. Each handmade purse is priced at $1,911.

Finally, the Lucia is an evening bag that is Light Blue (Patent) and Royal Blue. With a detachable shoulder strap and a visible bow, the aspects of the handmade purse make it "an object of desire." These can be purchased for $1,405.

Prior to her 94th birthday, the Queen has remained a fixture of conversation in recent months for a variety of reasons. Not only did she offer a "nod of support" to a certain family member, but it has also been reported that she has given her staff "daunting" tasks as she works to "overhaul" Buckingham Palace following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal exit.
