Queen Letizia Of Spain Shows Off Her Summer Style In Recycled Hugo Boss Dress
Queen Letizia of Spain recycled a black and white ink-blot Hugo Boss Dinoma Onyx dress as she welcomed audiences to Madrid’s Zarzuela Palace alongside her husband King Felipe VI. The 43-year-old royal is known to be the thriftiest of European royals. She has previously worn the dress at least on six occasions.
Just like her British royal counterpart Kate Middleton, she recycles her dresses on official engagements and also loves to wear high-street labels. Her Hugo Boss sleeveless dress featured a striking print, fitted bodice and pencil skirt. The knee-length dress was cinched in at the waist with a thin black belt that showed off her svelte figure.
The mother-of-two looked chic in the dress, which is currently sold out. The Spanish queen accessorized with a pair of diamond drop earrings. Her flawless make-up consisted of kohl-lined eyes, black eyeliner and some mascara. She completed with a slick of brown glossy lipstick and matching manicure.
Letizia’s long blonde hair was left loose over her shoulders, kept in a side part and tucked behind her ears. She finished her look in a pair of black patent pointed-toe high heels. Her husband Felipe looked handsome in a navy suit, striped shirt and a dotted tangerine tie.
For the first time Letizia was seen in the abstract black and white dress in 2013, when she was a princess. She has since worn her favorite Dinoma Onyx dress by Hugo Boss on several occasions. Letizia regularly turns to high street labels like Mango and does not shy away from recycling her favorite dresses.
Last week the fashion-forward Spanish royal stole the show in a pair of affordable chandelier earrings that cost only 12.99 pounds ($18.90). Letizia was out for an official engagement visiting the “El Bosco” 5th Centenary Anniversary Exhibition at Prado museum with former Dutch queen Princess Beatrix. This time she opted for a navy Hugo Boss skirt suit, which she accessorized with “Colorful Gems Earrings” from Spanish fashion brand Zara.
