Radford Fire Spreads Across 200 Acres With 0% Containment; Evacuations Ordered

Fire crews are battling a brush fire that has rapidly spread through the San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear in California.
About 140 firefighters are currently working to quell the blaze, dubbed the Radford fire.
The fire has spread across 200 acres and is 0% contained, according to the latest update the San Bernardino National Forest posted on Twitter.
Four helicopters and four tankers are being employed as firefighters tackle the flames from both the air as well as the ground, ABC7 reported.
An evacuation order has been issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department from Glass Road to South Fork River Road due to the blaze.
The blaze was first reported at around 2 p.m. Monday. The fire spread across 200 acres by around 7:15 p.m., according to News Channel 3.
Details about structures being threatened have not been reported so far. No injuries have been logged.
State Route 38 is closed in both directions from Mill Creek Road to Lakewood Road, as per reports.
Another rapidly-expanding fire near Hemet, California, killed two people and injured another Monday, according to the Los Angeles Times. The Fairview Fire started around 3 p.m. and quickly burned through 700 acres, the Riverside County Fire Department noted.
A recent update from the fire department said the Fairview Fire is currently at 700 acres and 5% contained. In addition to confirming two deaths, the department also said seven structures have been destroyed, while more have suffered damage.
The temperate in Hemet soared to 110 degrees Monday.
"This fire ... was spreading very quickly before firefighters even got on scene," a spokesperson for the Riverside County Fire Department and Cal Fire reportedly said during a Twitter live stream.
Areas south of Thornton Avenue, north of Polly Butte Road, west of Fairview Avenue and east of State Street were issued evacuation orders. Within a few hours, the evacuation orders expanded to areas south of Stetson, north of Cactus Road, west of Fairview Avenue and east of State Street.
Reacting to a clip showing the Radford Fire and the Fairview Fire, a social media user wrote on Twitter, "I'm in perris and can see both fires if I stand on my street corner."
"To the left I can see the Radford and to the right the Fairview," the user added.
