Torrential rain and heavy wind postponed a French Open quarterfinals matchup Tuesday between No. 4 Rafael Nadal and No. 20 Pablo Carreno Busta. The two Spaniards will instead meet on Wednesday at 5:00 a.m. ET on Philippe-Chatrier Court.

Carreno Busta, who outlasted No. 5 Milos Raonic in a Sunday match that took over four hours, can only hope the extra time off will boost his chances against Nadal, the tournament favorite. Nadal has crushed his Roland Garros opponents, conceding just 20 games in four matches.

"Nadal is at his best," said Roberto Bautista Agut, who managed to win just five games in a loss to Nadal in the Round of 16. "He plays every point with great intensity and yields nothing.''

Nadal has won all three head-to-head matches with Carreno Busta and has not conceded a set to the 25-year-old on clay. This is the deepest Carreno Busta has ever advanced in a Grand Slam.

Known as the King of Clay, Nadal is seeking his 10th French Open title. He celebrated his 31st birthday on Saturday.

The winner will face the winner of No. 2 Novak Djokovic vs. No. 6 Dominic Thiem, who will meet on Suzanne-Lenglen Court on Wednesday at 5:00 a.m. ET.
