‘Raise A Glass To Love’ Hallmark Movie Premiere: Trailer, Synopsis, Cast
Fall Harvest is continuing to bring lots of crisp autumn romance on Hallmark Channel, with the premiere of the channel’s newest original film, “Raise A Glass To Love,” starring Laura Osnes and Juan Pablo di Pace.
The film is one that will definitely be a treat for Hallmark fans, who likely recognize Osnes from her projects on the network in recent years, including the Hallmark Channel films, “In The Key of Love” and “One Royal Holiday,” as well as the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film, “A Homecoming for the Holidays.” She’s also recognizable for her storied Broadway career.
As for di Pace, he will be a new face to Hallmark, though fans have likely recognized him in other projects, most specifically, his role as Fernando on Netflix’s “Fuller House.” While he is new to Hallmark though, he isn’t a stranger to romance films, as he starred in Paramount Network’s “Dashing in December” opposite Peter Porte in 2020.
So what will happen when these two team up in this newest fall film?
“Since growing up on her late grandmother’s vineyard, Jenna Savern (Osnes) has dreamed of becoming a Master Sommelier,” a synopsis reads. “Determined to join her role model Jennifer Huether as one of the few women to pass the notoriously difficult exam—despite having failed her previous two attempts and with little support from her restauranteur boyfriend—Jenna takes any opportunity she can to study.”
Jenna gets the perfect chance to get away from everyday life and really focus on her studies when her father asks her to come back to the vineyard for a surprise party—where she meets an unexpected muse who may be able to help her achieve her goals.
“While there, Jenna meets the vineyard’s handsome new head winemaker Marcelo (di Pace), who has successfully turned around small vineyards all over the world using natural methods he learned growing up in Argentina,” the synopsis continues. “Marcelo soon has Jenna looking at wine, and her long-held dreams, in a new way.”
However, with Jenna’s exam date quickly approaching, and Marcelo also potentially looking elsewhere for a new adventure, the two may learn about something besides wine pairings—love.
“Raise A Glass To Love” premieres Saturday, Sept. 18 at 9 p.m. EDT on Hallmark Channel.
