Rajinikanth Might Do a Cameo in New 'Kolaveri Di' Video

With the song Why This Kolaveri Di becoming a huge rage, it is reported that superstar Rajinikanth might be seen doing a cameo in the new Kolaveri Di video that will be a part of the film 3.

Directed by Rajinikanth's elder daughter Aishwarya Dhanush, the movie features Dhanush and Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti Haasan. After seeing the kind of response the song Kolaveri Di, the husband-wife duo Aishwarya and Dhanush has apparently requested Rajinikanth to do a special appearance in the film.

When Dhanush was asked if Rajnikanth would be a part of the Kolaveri Di song, he didn't deny it and said: We'd only love it if he's part of everything we do.

The language in Kolaveri is like no other song, and it has somehow become the USP. We are shooting three different videos for the song, sometime in December. We're looking at videos that capture the mood of the song right now, added Dhanush.

The superstar is also elated at the success of the song. Apparently, the first time he heard the song, he burst out laughing, because the lyrics did not make much sense. Rajnikanth is overjoyed in the fact that his daughter's directorial debut is creating such a buzz.

Rajinikanth is still recuperating and is resting in Chennai. He is supposed to resume the shooting for Rana in January.
