'Rambo 5: Last Blood': Sylvester Stallone Teases 'Dangerous' Rescue Mission
The action will pick up quite early in “Rambo 5: Last Blood.” Sylvester Stallone has shared new movie stills revealing that his character’s life at his father’s ranch will be anything but normal. The former soldier will undertake some “dangerous” missions to help the community in his new home.
The new picture that Stallone posted on Instagram showed John (Stallone) on a mission during a “lethal flash flood.” Stallone revealed in his post that his character will keep himself busy at the start of the film by undertaking such “dangerous” missions to help the community.
John wanted a quite life at his father’s ranch after everything he has been through. Yet, he will “always volunteer” for dangerous missions, according to Stallone. Is the quite life unsuited for the former soldier?
The other pictures from the same sequence reveal John going on a rescue mission to save a woman during the flash flood. While the movie stills are in black and white, readers should note that they are meant only as teaser. The actual film will be in full color.
A previous movie still that Stallone teased on Instagram showed how his character will transform into a cowboy. The actor teased at that time that all his character wants to do is lead a quite, meaningful life and protect the two people in his life who he loves. The action then picks up when this peace is threatened.
John will gear up with his classic bow, as teased on Instagram by Stallone, and a menacing new knife called Heart-Stopper, a picture of which has also been teased by the actor on Instagram.
This will be the last time that Stallone will be reprising his role as John. It remains to be seen what kind of an ending has been planned for the iconic Vietnam veteran.
“Rambo 5: Last Blood” has been directed by Adrian Grunberg. The film will be released sometime this year. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date.
