Raven Symone Addresses Rumor That She Is Coming Out As A Lesbian

Raven Symone has been at the center of a tornado of gossip regarding her sexual orientation. The National Enquirer published a story that the 26-year-old actress is planning to come out as a lesbian and make public her romance with America's Next Top Model contestant AzMarie Livingston.

Raven has lost almost 30 Pounds, has done a whole image makeover, and now she is the star of 'Sister Act' on Broadway, a source told the National Enquirer. She's at a point now where she doesn't care what her family thinks, and she's in love with AzMarie. She's a lesbian and wants to live that way.

She feels her parents are still trying to treat her like she's a kid, and she's told them she's going to do what she wants.

The National Enquirer reported that Symone is currently living in a $11,000-a-month New York City apartment with Livingston, a 24-year-old androgynous model who competed on the British Invasion series of ANTM.

Raven has hidden being gay for a long time now. But about a year ago, she was introduced by a friend to AzMarie, who is absolutely gorgeous, the source told the tabloid. The two began see­ing each other, and a few months ago, Raven finally got the nerve to ask her to move into her lavish Manhattan condo. When her family found out, they blew their stack and it's created a gay scandal for Raven.

Raven Symone took to her official Twitter account on Friday to address rumors that she plans on coming out as a lesbian. In a series of tweets, Symone told the world that her private life will remain private; and whether she is gay, straight or anything in-between is no one's business.

I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now, wrote Symone.

My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life.

However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay. To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone, she continued.

The National Enquirer reported that Symone has been the subject of gay rumors in the past. In 2008, she allegedly denied the coming-out gossip, saying, It's false that I'm dating a girl right now.

These days, Raven Symone is remaining tight-lipped about her love life.

I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses! she tweeted to fans.
