Is Raven Symoné joining "The Real" as a host?

At the moment, the answer is unknown, but the 34-year-old actress did open up about whether or not she would be interested in the opportunity.

"There's always conversations to be had," Raven told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm gonna stay true to what I've been setting goals towards during corona, and that's to focus on my skills as a director and EP and a creator, and really take what I've learned in the industry and pass it along to people that are beginning."

"But, I'll never say no to a cool job," she added. "I don't mind helping out where they need me to. As long as we're corona safe, I'm down for the cause."

In addition to a job that keeps its staff safe, Raven, who recently announced she tied the knot with Miranda Pearman-Maday, also shared that any role she takes on will need to allow her to have a good work-life balance.

"I'm gonna start a family [soon] and I need to do that. I want to make sure I'm getting into a job position that allows 'me time,' because let's not forget how demanding that job was before corona, and I'm sure it's demanding now," the "Cheetah Girls" alum explained. "This is gonna sound egotistical, but the demand that's needed for me in the jobs that I've been in, have taken my life to where I have not had a personal life. It is morning to night, 'We need you. We need you. We need you.' And I'm like, I'm trying to cuddle."

Raven was previously a daytime talk show host from her time on "The View" from 2015 to 2016 and she has also previously appeared on "The Real" as both a guest host and as the topic of conversation so she has the experience to be able to take on the role. Whether or not that will happen though remains to be seen.

"The Real" currently has two empty host slots after both Amanda Seales and Tamera Mowry-Housley exited the show.

Mowry-Housley, who had been with the show since its debut in 2013, shared the "bittersweet" news of her departure in an Instagram post on July 13.

"For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real. The friendships that I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve had the blessing to interview have changed my life for the better," she shared.

"However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real," she continued. "To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you."
