Ray J Reacts To Kanye West’s ‘Famous’ Music Video, Says Fiancee Princess Love Is Not Happy About It

Princess Love is not happy that her fiance, Ray J, was depicted naked in Kanye West’s music video “Famous.” In the video, released Friday, a wax figure of the “One Wish” singer is seen lying on a bed in his birthday suit next to his ex-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. It’s believed that Kardashian didn’t actually appear in the video but was also depicted by a wax figure.

Speaking to “Entertainment Tonight” Sunday at the 2016 BET Awards, Ray J said he was just trying to “stay positive” following the video’s release. “I’m engaged. My marriage is all messed up 'cause of craziness,” he said. “I’m not part of nothing crazy.”

The “Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood” star, who proposed to Princess five months ago, also said his fiancee didn’t like the video. “I walk down a good path. My fiancee tripping,” he told the outlet. “It’s all bad in my world, and that ain’t cool.” He added, “Don’t put me part of nothing that’s weird, that don’t make no sense. Can I grow up?”

Ray J’s manager, Wack 100, is also upset over the “Famous” music video. Speaking to a TMZ photographer, Wack threatened West and said the rapper should have shown Kardashian in a sexual act with Ray J. A sex tape featuring the former couple went public in 2007. “Tell Kanye to go back and re-shoot that s---,” he said. “Tell that n---- he a long way from Chicago. He better watch his motherf------ mouth.”

In an interview with Vanity Fair, West explained that he chose the celebrities depicted in the video because it’s a “comment on fame.” He said: “It’s not in support or anti any of [the people in the video].” The rapper also said he got his wife’s approval for the controversial lyrics and the video. “[I say] a lot of lines other wives would not allow a husband to say,” he told the outlet. “But my wife also puts up photos that other husbands wouldn’t let them put up. One of the keys to happiness in our marriage is, we’re allowed to be ourselves.”

Chris Brown, who in the video is depicted sleeping between a naked Rihanna and Taylor Swift, also commented on it but didn’t seem upset. Posting a screenshot of the bed scene, he wrote, “Why I gotta have the plumbers butt/crack showing WAX figure? This n---- KANYE CRAZY, talented, but crazy.”
