The two 911 calls made by a woman in Minneapolis before she was shot and killed by a responding police officer last weekend have been released to the public. Justine Damond, a 40-year-old Australian national who was set to get married next month, died on the scene after she called to report a possible sexual assault late Saturday night.

Mohamed Noor, the officer who shot Damond, was in the passenger seat of a police vehicle when he fired his service weapon through the driver's side window, according to Noor's partner. Officer Matthew Harrity said he and Noor heard a loud noise before Damond approached the car, which prompted the fatal shooting.
