Real Estate Agent Eats Chick-fil-A Foods For 114 Days To Set Record High

Earning the nickname as Mayor of Chick-fil-A, a man from San Diego has set a record high of the most number of days of eating at the said restaurant. He challenged himself to the task, and he successfully hurdled it.

Mark Mendenhall is a real estate agent who was able to grab the highest record of eating at Chick-fil-A. Although there is no official record, Mark was able to eat for 114 days at the highly-acclaimed fast-food chain.

According to NYPost, he would eat at the restaurant every single day for the past months, except for Sundays when the restaurant is closed. This habit of Mark started way back, about five to six years ago.

Why Chick-fil-A

Mark had no qualms gushing about how he adores the chain. According to him, he loved the atmosphere at Chick-fil-A, and he also loved how polite the team members were. So many reports about the great attitude of the staff of Chick-fil-A have surfaced, and this isn’t the first one.

What prompted him to pursue this habit of eating at the fast-food chain for more than 100 days was the news about a Georgia man who, for 100 consecutive days, ate at his local restaurant. This also does not count the Sundays (when the said the local restaurant is closed).

Initially, Mark was bent on finishing just 105 days to beat the record. However, the 105 days blossomed into 114. In fact, he was already able to raise about $1,000 for a charity called the Poway Unified School District Adopt-a-Family program.

What the Wife Says

Of course, Mark’s wife was not like him when it comes to his penchant for Chick-fil-A. There was a time that he disappeared from a Disneyland family trip just so he could eat at the fast-food chain. This led to a solemn promise that on the next family vacation, he would already stop what he’s doing.

Because of this, his wife planned a vacation that would take him away from Chick-fil-A, yet at the same time, it will not be so far that it would be required to fly.

Sharing his favorite Chick-fil-A meal, he said it’s the original chicken sandwich, a large Diet Coke, and fries. Because of how frequently he has been at the local restaurant, the team already knew his order by heart.
