‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Alum Kenya Moore Dismisses Baby Boy Ultrasound Theories
Although Kenya Moore’s pregnancy won’t be featured on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 11, the Bravo star has continued to keep fans updated throughout her journey into motherhood by sharing special moments on Instagram and Twitter.
Kenya, who married husband Marc Daly in 2017, confirmed she was pregnant at the “RHOA” Season 10 reunion. At the time, she wasn’t willing to share further details about the baby’s gender. However, when a fan recently suggested the star was having a boy, the 47-year-old dismissed the theory about the baby’s sex.
On Monday, Kenya shared a video of her ultrasound on Instagram. “I wanted to share this 4D ultrasound we had months ago. It’s so incredible you can see #babydaly moving its little arms and legs in utero. Technology is so advanced it’s mind boggling to me! We see a high risk specialist who has this type of imaging and are so blessed to have access to this modern day miracle,” she captioned the clip.
In the comment section, fans and friends congratulated the former Miss USA, but when one individual asked if she was having a boy, Kenya quickly explained away his theory. “You can’t see gender this early what you see is an umbilical cord. We did this months ago,” she wrote.
Kenya later called out her friend, Jodie Rowlands, who gushed over the ultrasound. “Aww look at my beautiful niece,” the stylist wrote.
“@sewjodie stop it Jodie,” Kenya replied along with a few playful emojis.
Baby Daly’s update comes weeks after sources revealed the star quit “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” ahead of Season 11. Insiders told People production wanted to film more of Kenya’s life, specifically her marriage with Daly.
Filming her relationship was an issue for the star during Season 10 of the series, but she was reportedly willing to budge if she was offered more money. However, those close to the former beauty queen revealed the network wasn’t willing to pay her the amount she felt was appropriate and Kenya refused to return.
“Everyone was rooting for her and wanted to see her back, even women like Nene [Leakes] and Porsha [Williams] who haven’t always been on ‘Team Kenya.’ The cast, producers, Bravo — they all know she’s good for the show. But it got messy. She just refused to compromise,” a source explained.
“Kenya really loves her life with her husband. She’s always wanted to be a wife and a mother, and she’s put all of her focus into her growing family,” the insider added.
Kenya and Marc have yet to share details about their baby’s due date.
