‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Kenya Moore’s Divorce Gets Star Promoted To Full Time Cast
After Kenya Moore announced her split from husband Marc Daly, the star was reportedly promoted to a full-time cast member on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12.
Kenya initially returned to the series as a part-time cast member, but it appears Bravo executives believe her marriage drama deserves more screen time.
RadarOnline published a report claiming Kenya’s break up has boosted her value on the hit reality series. “Kenya will be holding a peach when the season starts. She is going to be a full-time housewife again,” an alleged source told the website.
Kenya was absent during the “RHOA” Season 10 after she refused to film scenes with Marc about their marriage in Season 9. Upon her Season 12 return, Kenya agreed to allow cameras to film her home life with Marc, and their daughter Brooklyn Daly.
“So much of filming, so far, has been about Kenya, and the baby and Marc, so she’s earned her way back,” the supposed insider explained.
However, after cameras caught Kenya and Marc arguing at an event, production is eager to hear more from the former beauty queen. Kenya’s marriage experienced a major crack on Sept. 17, while Marc was hosting an even at Wimbish House.
At the time, cameras reportedly caught the restaurant owner complaining about his wife to Eva Marcille’s husband, Michael Sterling. During the event, Kenya “aggressively confronted” Marc over their issues, and on Sept. 19, she announced their split.
“It is with profound sadness that I regret to inform my fans that I am divorcing my husband, Marc Daly,” she said in a statement to Us Weekly on Thursday.
“Due to recent and ongoing circumstances, I can no longer continue in the marriage. My sole concern and focus is, and will always be, my daughter, Brooklyn, my miracle baby. She was made in love and true commitment. I ask for our privacy to be respected moving forward.”
