'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' Recap: Did Kordell Stewart Hit Porsha During Marriage?

Porsha Stewart opened up once again about her bitter divorce battle from estranged husband Kordell Stewart on Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Since the beginning of the third season, which premiered at the beginning of the month, fans have watched as Porsha tries to amend her marriage and work things out with the former football player.

However, it seems Kordell is not willing to change his mind after filing for divorce, and even sent her belonging to her mother’s house, where Porsha is currently staying. While talking to fellow cast mate Kandi Burruss on Sunday’s episode about her divorce, an even more serious topic was brought up—domestic violence. Burruss asked Porsha if Kordell ever hit her, and Porsha hesitated before saying that he has not. She then shrugged and said, “Everybody gets shook a little bit here and there.”

“We had our issues and I don’t think he would put his hands on me now. There’s no reason for him to do anything like that.”

But Burruss did not seem convinced, saying during a confessional, “The pause meant something … I don’t know what it meant, but it didn’t mean absolutely not!”

Porsha, the youngest cast mate on the show, and Kordell have been married for two years. Kordell filed a petition for divorce in March and the court document said the marriage was "irretrievably broken." Porsha found out about the filing in the media.
