‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star Kenya Moore Denies ‘Intentionally’ Ruining Cynthia Bailey’s Engagement
Viewers who tuned into “Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, episode 9 had mixed reactions to Kenya Moore’s behavior at Cynthia Bailey’s wine bar launch party. Along with introducing her new business to the world, Cynthia also became engaged to Mike Hill.
Before Kenya arrived, Kandi Burruss urged her co-star to get to the event quickly because she suspected Mike was going to propose. However, Kenya ruined the surprise when she told Cynthia she thought Mike was going to pop the question.
On Sunday night, Kenya took to Twitter to thank Cynthia for realizing she did not intend to ruin her engagement.
“Thank you @CynthiaBailey10. I would never intentionally ruin anyone’s engagement, it wasn’t done with any malice. I was excited and didn’t think first, but I should have kept my big mouth shut. Thank God it was beautiful. #RHOA,” she tweeted.
During the episode, Cynthia confronted Kenya about the engagement and questioned her friend’s motives. “I had a conversation with Mike because it bothered him. If you knew he was trying to surprise me, why bring that up to me?” Cynthia asked Kenya.
“I just felt it and you know, we always have conversations about my premonitions on things… and it’s always right,” the former beauty queen replied.
Although Cynthia accepted Kenya’s response, other cast members like Porsha Williams felt the 48-year-old’s behavior was unacceptable.
Cynthia and Mike have not set a wedding date, but their big day is expected to be filmed and aired on Bravo.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12 airs Sundays at 3 p.m. EST on Bravo.
