‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Alum Kim Richards Seen In Public For The First Time Since Leaving Rehab
Kim Richards is out of rehab and it seems she’s feeling better than ever. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is said to have checked out of rehab after just over one month. The 51-year-old was spotted out and about in Beverly Hills for the first time since leaving the facility.
According to TMZ, Kim was spotted outside of Madeo, a popular Beverly Hills restaurant, after a meal with friends. When asked about her sobriety, Kim told one of the site's camera men, "it's going great" and that she's "doing well" post-rehab. The ex "RHOBH" star appeared elated to be clean and sober once more.
"I'm loving my sobriety," she said.
TMZ also asked Kim about "RHOBH, which she once starred on. The paparazzo attempted to get her to offer some advice to the cast, who are currently believed to be filming Season 6. While she did not have much to say about the show, she did wish the cast the best of luck.
As was previously reported, Bravo and NBC Universal gave her an ultimatum following her April 15 arrest: seek treatment or loose her role on the show. The decision came after network executives concluded that she would be too much of a liability if she did not get sober prior to filming. While she did get eventually help, it appears her short stints in multiple facilities was not exactly what the network had in mind.
Kim has spent the last few months in and out of different rehab facilities. She first sought treatment on April 26, just days ahead of her dramatic sit down with Phil McGraw on "Dr. Phil." She was given a pass by the facility, located in Malibu, Calif., to attend daughter Brook Brinson's wedding on the grounds that she returned by May 25. However, she failed to report back in time. She then checked into another facility on June 2, which she left on July 14.
