‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Season 7 Spoilers: What To Expect From The 2-Part Reunion
This season of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” may have been the most explosive to date. The show has wrapped, but Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita and the rest of the gang aren’t done dropping bombs on one another just yet.
Previews for the Season 7 reunion special, which will air in two parts, suggest that things are going to get ugly as the cast gathers with host Andy Cohen to discuss their on-camera drama. The cast will look back on health scares, feuds and address shocking new allegations from Teresa about her and her husband’s legal woes. In between all the insults and accusations there will, of course, be a few brief happy moments.
Much of the drama stems from a blowout in the Season 7 finale, which is slated to air Sunday. During the episode, “RHONJ” rookies Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker attempt to once again bring Teresa and Jacqueline together. Previews for the episode, available on Bravo’s website, show Siggy defending Teresa’s sincere attempt to rebuild a relationship with Jacqueline. Her former friend isn’t buying it though, questioning how rapidly she made the move to “end the friendship.”
While the mother of four was released from prison on Dec. 23, 2015, her husband Joe Giudice began serving a 31-month sentence in March. Both were handed down jail time from a judge in October 2014 after being charged with multiple counts of fraud. Teresa spent much of Season 7 of “RHONJ” trying to maintain her new zen vibe, and repair damaged friendships. Her patients was tested on more than one occasion and it seems she may be through with Jacqueline, as well as a few other members of the cast.
Here are five moments to look out for during the Season 7 “RHONJ” reunion:
Siggy Speaks Openly About Her Health:
During the “RHONJ” reunion Siggy will speak candidly about undergoing a hysterectomy. The new addition has previously discussed the procedure, explaining that it is largely the reason that she’s so emotional at times. In a post on her Bravo TV blog, Siggy wrote that the hysterectomy was unexpected and afterward she experienced imbalances with her hormones. She still does from time to time, and will likely touch on that further during the “RHONJ” reunion.
Teresa And Jacqueline Will Trade Insults:
Clips from the Season 7 reunion show the former friends — once dubbed the Lucy and Ethel of the “RHONJ” cast — trading barbs while seated across from one another. Teresa suggests that Jacqueline, who has made no secret about the fact that she’s undergone a number of cosmetic surgeries, looks like a clown. She will also address having been compared to an ape, showing off her toned physique in a black ball gown.
Teresa Will Discuss Joe’s Sentence:
Andy has been asking the hard-hitting questions about Teresa and Joe Giudice’s legal issues since they first arose and will not be taking it easy on her during the Season 7 reunion. In one clip he once again addresses the fact that as a felon and how her husband could be deported from the U.S. back to Italy. Teresa is immediately reduced to tears and we’re certain there will be plenty more to discuss.
Teresa Will Point Fingers:
Teresa has admitted on more than one occasion that she and her husband made mistakes in the past. That does not mean, however, that she doesn’t still partially blame some of her “RHONJ” co-stars for landing her behind bars. In a preview for the reunion, Teresa reveals that she believes Jacqueline and her sister-in-law Caroline Manzo are to blame for her and her husband’s legal issues. She speculates that the two women placed calls to the government, informing them about aspects of their financial lives and more.
Joe Gorga Will Provide Comedic Relief:
In general, “Real Housewives” reunions are reserved for only the cast — save a portion where husbands and friends are brought out to weigh in on certain situations. Previews suggest it will be different this time around. Joe Gorga — Melissa Gorga’s husband and Teresa’s brother — is shown sitting by the women on the couch with Andy. During the special he is asked a number of questions about his sex life, which is sure to bring some much-needed comic relief.
Tune in to the final episode of “RHONJ” on Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT. Be sure to catch Part 1 of the Season 7 reunion on Nov. 6 at 10 p.m. EDT.
