'Real Housewives Of New Jersey' Star Joe Giudice Opens Up About Possibly Being Deported, Says 'Anything Can Happen'
Joe Giudice's prison entrance date is getting closer and closer but "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star may have a bigger problem.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Giudice, 43, opened up about potentially being deported. He told the publication there were no guarantees about his fate, but said that he was trying not to think about it too much. Joe, who did the interview with wife and co-star Teresa Giudice by his side, said they would focus on keeping him in this the U.S. — or restarting their lives in his native Italy — after his 41-month sentence for fraud charges is complete.
"Anything can happen, you know? There is nothing in life that is certain," Joe said. "We will deal with that when I get out."
Teresa, 43, has been open about her time in prison for similar charges since being released in December. On Feb. 10, during an appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," the reality star shared some never-before-heard details about her prison stay. She told host Andy Cohen that she was "not at all" comfortable with her sleeping situation. Teresa shared with Andy, 47, that her bed was stained with both blood and urine, which came as a complete shock to her. By the time she arrived, however, she said it was too late to switch beds with anyone else.
Joe and Teresa were sentenced to prison time after a federal judge found them guilty of multiple types of fraud. The husband and wife duo were sentenced in October 2014, though Teresa did not enter prison until January 2015. She was slated to serve 15-months at Danbury Women's Correctional Facility in Connecticut, but was allowed to return home in December to finish out her sentence on house arrest. Joe will enter prison in March. He will be joining fellow "Real Housewives" star Apollo Nida at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.
