‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Star Teresa Giudice’s Lawyer Sounds Off On Cheating Rumors
If there’s one thing Teresa Giudice won’t stand for, it’s spreading rumors about her relationship. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star recently found herself at the center of a series of stories suggesting that she’s been unfaithful while husband Joe Giudice’s in prison.
While Teresa hasn’t spoken about the rumors, lawyer James J. Leonard released a statement to People. He assured “RHONJ” fans allegations that Teresa’s cozying up to another man while her husband serves time at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, are untrue. Leonard called the stories “the embodiment of fake news.”
“All sizzle and no steak,” he said. “Sadly, Teresa is used to this. She and her family have been the target of these types of attacks for years.”

Additionally, the couple’s attorney confirmed that they’re closer than ever, saying Teresa and Joe “speak every day,” and the “RHONJ” star reportedly visits her hubby in prison as often as possible.
“Teresa saw Joe two weeks ago and will be seeing him this weekend for Father’s Day,” Leonard told People.
Similarly, sources told Us Weekly that Teresa’s been strong while her beau serves his lengthy sentence. She and her four daughters have developed a routine and adjusted to his absence. The “RHONJ” star has been working hard to keep her four kids in good spirits while they await his release.
“They’ve adjusted to life without Dad in the house. Teresa has them all stay busy to keep them distracted,” the source said.
Rumors of Teresa stepping outside her marriage stem from Kim DePaola, the reality star’s former friend. She told us Teresa’s been getting “pretty cozy” with another man for several months. She added that she wasn’t holding the alleged infidelity against Teresa, sighting rumors that Joe had been unfaithful previously.
“I think Teresa has every right to go out and find somebody else. She should leave Joe,” DePaola said.
As rumors swirl, Teresa’s focused on her family and her career. The reality star released an excerpt from her second memoir, “Standing Strong.” In it, she opened up about the many trials and tribulations she’s endured as of late including the death of her mother, her imprisonment and her husband’s.
“I found that writing this book and talking about everything I was going through was very therapeutic for me,” she told People. “Writing this particular book has been very emotional and personal for me as I am going to depths that I have never gone to in previous books.”
“Standing Strong” follows her previous memoir, “Turning the Tables.” That particular book focused on her time in prison. Teresa called the second memoir “a natural sequel,” explaining that it focuses on her life after prison.

Teresa has been very open in sharing her experiences in prison and after. In September 2016, she shared with fans a story about her daughters’ response to Joe’s prison sentence. At the time, she told People her kids were fine, but said “it wasn’t easy.”
“They’re doing good. I’m sure it wasn’t easy, but a little easier because they went through it with me so they know what to expect,” she explained. “But they miss him tremendously, they always say we miss dad. They miss him. You can feel his absence, our family’s definitely incomplete without him.”
Joe’s serving 41-months behind bars for various types of fraud. Teresa previously served over a year in prison for similar such crimes.
