‘Real Housewives Of NYC’ Star Bethenny Frankel Slammed Over ‘Judgmental’ MEGXIT Tweet

While fans are still reeling from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s plan to step back from the royal family, “Real Housewives of New York City” viewers have been busy lashing out at former cast member, Bethenny Frankel.

Over the weekend, the Bravo star attempted to defend herself on Twitter after a fan compared her “RHONY” exit to Megxit. However, her tweets ended up upsetting fans, who accused her of being too “judgemental” about the couple’s situation.

On Friday, Bethenny took to Twitter to share her opinion about Meghan and Harry’s announcement. The reality star appeared to mock the couple’s decision to step away from the spotlight. When one fan suggested their lives were none of her business, Bethenny explained why she had a right to comment on the matter.

“That’s a big LOL. Be an actress & game show hostess, marry Prince Charming, have a multimillion-dollar worldwide wedding, become the most famous couple in decades, befriend the world’s rich & famous then bolt with 100 PUBLIC IP registrations. It’s my damn biz now,” she replied.

However, things took a harsh turn when a fan compared Bethenny’s “Real Housewives of New York City” to Megxit.

“It’s really interesting how you can leave ‘RHONY’ because it’s too much, but they can’t make a similar decision? And they’re under tons more pressure than you for bigger reasons,” the fan tweeted.

“LOL I am [dead] that you just compared my leaving RHONY to MEGXIT. Baby, there is no such thing as too much pressure for me. I handle my business gracefully without exception & I don’t send the meal back after I’ve eaten it. Ask @andy if I wasn’t straight up [one hundred]. Don’t come for me,” she replied.

Fans then lashed out at Bethenny and accused her of lacking sympathy for the couple’s predicament. “You lack of compassion for other people doing what is best for them is a real bummer. I have been a huge fan and defender of yours for years....but your take on Meghan and Harry is disappointing,” one fan wrote.

Meanwhile, another Twitter user revealed they hoped an intern was controlling Bethenny’s account, which prompted a “RHONY” viewer to reconsider the reality star’s comment.“ I agree! It’s really not like her to be this judgemental,” the person replied.

As of Sunday afternoon, it appears Bethenny has stopped sharing her thoughts about Meghan and Prince Harry’s announcement.
