‘Real Housewives Of NYC’ Star Leah McSweeney Plans To Confront Ramona Singer At Reunion
Leah McSweeney may be a newbie on the “Real Housewives of New York City,” but she is not afraid to take on long time cast member Ramona Singer. The women have been at odds since Leah joined the Bravo series in Season 12, but Leah plans to deal with their issues at the reunion.
During a conversation on the Hollywood Raw podcast, Leah told hosts Dax Holt and Adam Glyn that she planned to confront Ramona about her behavior throughout the season at the reunion.
“I feel like we’re gonna hash things out at the reunion. We are going to talk it out, we’re gonna figure it out. I’m going to save it for the reunion. I’m not gonna to let her get away with doing it in private. No, no, no. This is gonna happen on stage,” she said.
At the moment, it is unclear if the “RHONY” stars will meet in person or attend a virtual reunion. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Bravo had a virtual reunion for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” where the host, Andy Cohen, could mute arguing cast members and swiftly transition to the next topic.
Although Leah didn’t clarify the specifics about the reunion, she admitted she knew when they would film it and was relieved that she would be able to control her anger throughout the episode special.
“I already calculated, not to bring up my period ... but I already calculated and made sure I’m not gonna be PMSing during [the reunion],” she explained.
“I deal with terrible PMS, it’s a real thing, it honestly screws up my whole life, it ruins relationships, it messes up my healthy living with my diet, and my working out. I turn into a freaking monster.”
While Leah is confident she’ll be able to control her behavior during the reunion, she admitted that fans who look forward to explosive arguments during the event may be disappointed.
“I’m not going to be PMSing during the reunion. I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. Probably a good thing for Ramona. For you guys, probably not,” she said.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” airs on Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
