The latest season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” has been rough for Shannon Beador. The 51-year-old reality star made the bold decision to confront issues in her marriage to husband David Beador in front of the cameras. Now she’s taking on critics who think she’s been “whining” too much in Season 10.

In her latest Bravo TV blog post the holistic housewife focuses on episode 3, which aired Monday. In the installment she and the rest of the “RHOC” cast headed to Napa, California, to celebrate the launch of Heather Dubrow's Collette méthode champenoise. Shannon wrote that she was “doing my best,” but added that mending her relationship with David is going to take time.

Shannon directly addressed viewers complaining that she was “whining" in the episode, saying she was “sorry” they felt that way. She went on to say that she was in no way trying to get viewers to feel sorry for her and asked only that they try to understand what she was going through. She apologized, once again, saying she and David also had a lot of good moments during their visit to Wine Country that weren’t shown. Shannon said she sincerely wished viewers “could have seen more of the fun.”

“So for those people who say that I am b---hing, whining, insecure, or needy, I’m sorry you feel that way. I am not looking for sympathy,” she wrote. “Only understanding as to why I may not be ‘fun vacation Shannon’ at all times. I am human. I experienced the most earth shattering months of my life and I don’t wish that pain on anyone.”

Throughout the trip, Shannon, who had only recently completed an intense marriage counselling session with her hubby, struggled to keep her “negative thoughts” at bay. The pair fought several times during their brief getaway and, although they tried their best to keep it between them, the rest of the group -- and the viewers at home -- could feel the tension. They managed to make it through the weekend, but when rookie housewife Meghan King Edmonds decided to address Shannon about a pre-existing issue she had with her, things got ugly. As the episode ended, Shannon erupted into a bit of a rage and began storming away while shouting at the “RHOC” newbie.

Viewers will see more of Shannon and David's struggles to get their marriage back on track, as well as the resolution in the Shannon vs. Meghan feud, next Monday on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.
