The recent El Classico between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Champions League semifinal first leg was so far away from a 'classic' that the tie was dubbed hell classico after a display ridden with repugnance. It has now emerged that the 'world's biggest game' also involved a racial slur.

Real Madrid have accused Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets of racially abusing Madrid defender Marcelo. Madrid have released video evidence in which Busquets appears to mouth mono, mono to Marcelo, which means monkey.
