KEY POINTS

  • Brahim Diaz is one of the young rising stars of Real Madrid
  • One of the key attributes of Brahim is his ability to be crafty with his ambidextrous ball control ability
  • Zinedine Zidane can take advantage of his young players and develop them in the coming season

The roster of Real Madrid is expected to perform well once the La Liga season returns in full bloom. One of the younger players anticipated to step up for the club is winger Brahim Diaz.

Per The Real Champs, Real Madrid is looking at Brahim to achieve his full potential in the coming seasons. While it’s expected that he will be playing as a backup to Karim Benzema, Brahim has been utilized well during their practice sessions. It has been reported that Diaz has been used and experimented in their training time as a false nine by Zinedine Zidane.

The future is bright for the young Spanish rising star. At just 19 years old, the former English Champion has suited up for 18 matches for Real Madrid. From here he’s already displayed his scoring and passing ability as he’s tallied two goals and three assists in his early stint with Los Blancos.

Considered as a well-rounded player, Brahim is lauded for his great ability to use both of his feet during games. The naturally left-footed star has been said to be just as skilled on when using his right foot. This gives the two-time English Cup winner the ability to move around the field with much ease and agility.

While he hasn’t been utilized as much as before, Brahim is still one of the players booming with talent and promise. During the current La Liga season, he’s only played in three games and totaled a mere 23 minutes across those matches. While this doesn’t show much yet, Zidane can further train and develop Brahim and let him learn from the game’s very best.

It will be interesting to see how Real Madrid moves forward with their lineup once La Liga action returns. Expectations are high for the team now and developing their younger talent for the future is pivotal for the squad.

Players such as Brahim will eventually be called for bigger minutes and will be given the opportunity to show everyone what they’re capable of doing.
