Lady Gaga has been spending more time with friend, Jeremy Renner, since she broke things off with her fiancé Christian Carino. The ex-couple ended things in February quietly without any reason given for the split at the time.

Lady Gaga was on the rise with her career again, with her role in the movie “A Star Is Born,” which resulted in an Oscar for her “Shallow” hit. During this time, Gaga and Carino ended their engagement and rumors swirled that it was because she was dating Bradley Cooper.

But the real reason that Gaga and Carino didn’t exchange vows may have been because of the way her fiancé was treating her at the time as a Us Weekly source said, “Chris didn’t treat Gaga very well toward the end of their [two-year] relationship.

“Gaga was the one who broke things off. He was jealous. He was trying to find her all the time and texted her a lot. Her friends didn’t like him either,” the source added.

Gaga may have had enough as she ended the engagement and started spending more time with Renner, who she looked to for support during the difficult time. Gaga and Renner were recently spotted at a jazz club where the singer gave an impromptu performance for fans.

“They’ve become super close and hang out all the time,” the source said.
