The Real Reason Why 'RHOC' Vicki Gunvalson Dropped Lawsuit Against Kelly Dodd And Network
And just like that, Vicki Gunvalson has dropped her lawsuit against her "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-star Kelly Dodd and the show's network.
"She has spoken to the producers and has resolved the issues amicably," a source close to Gunvalson, 57, revealed to People.
News of the lawsuit was first reported by TMZ on Nov. 1. Vicki, also known as "The OG of the OC," was suing Kelly and producers at the network for statements made by the 44-year-old during a cast trip to Key West. The three alleged statements are: "You prey on older people," "You are a con woman," and "You engaged in 'fraud.'"
That same day, Vicki dropped Bravo and NBC Universal from the lawsuit and continued to pursue Kelly. However, a source told Radar Online exclusively that if she didn’t drop the suit against her co-star as well, she would not be allowed to film the RHOC reunion.

Based on this series of events, it seems that the lawsuit was dropped so that Vicki could remain on the show. She already saw her status as a full-time, main cast member change after being demoted for Season 14 of the Bravo series. Although Vicki hasn't spoken out on the matter, the "RHOC" Season 14 reunion is taping soon and when it airs, it should clear a few things up.
"Vicki has nothing to hide. She has a lot to say and is attending the reunion taping this week," People's source added. "She is looking forward to a successful ending of season 14 as it wraps up."
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Tuesdays at 9 PM ET on Bravo.
