Reality Behind Hailey Baldwin Trying To Resemble Selena Gomez To Save Marriage

Hailey Baldwin is not getting cosmetic surgery to look like Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez amid divorce rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports that said Baldwin is trying to adopt Gomez’s facial features, including her nose, lips, chin and eyebrows.

NW reported Baldwin and Bieber’s marriage is “on the rocks” in just two months. Baldwin believes the only way to save their wedding is by looking like Gomez.

The magazine also quoted an insider saying, “Hailey is constantly comparing herself to Selena, second-guessing and doubting herself – enough to change herself to look more and more like her.”

The alleged insider added that Baldwin has already spent over $40,000 on plastic surgery.

“Even though she kind of hates her, Hailey is still obsessed with Selena. She’s working hard to keep her man and it’s no coincidence she changed her name to Hailey Bieber as soon as they got married. She seems to be losing her own identity – and now she’s morphing into Selena!” the questionable source continued.

The premise is illogical and fabricated as Baldwin has never been spotted wearing any post-surgery gauze nor does she look any different. There have been several instances to prove the newlyweds aren’t “on the rocks.” For instance, the couple celebrated Thanksgiving and Baldwin’s birthday together in Canada last week.

“First thanksgiving as a married man, first time hosting thanksgiving. First time both sides of the family has come together. Relationships are hard and love isn’t always easy but thank you Jesus for showing me how!” he posted on Instagram.

A source told People the couple “had a small birthday celebration for Hailey with his family and spent the rest of the weekend relaxing in Canada. Justin loves being in Canada because it’s very peaceful. He can take Hailey out and it’s not a mess with photographers. They are much more left alone. They seem very happy together.”

The two also attended the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game on Saturday after which they went for bowling.

The couple secretly wed in September this year just two months after getting engaged. Baldwin recently changed her Instagram handle to “Hailey Bieber” and also wore a jacket with her new married name printed behind.

Bieber then confirmed their marital status by referring to Baldwin by her new title for the first time publicly. “My wife is awesome,” he captioned the photo.

“After being married for a few weeks, they both realized that they actually felt like husband and wife without having a religious ceremony. They want to openly celebrate their marriage. This is why Hailey decided to change her name. She loves being married to Justin. They are still planning a wedding and a religious ceremony,” a source told People.
