Two hundred and sixty-six pages of nothing ranked as the most popular literature on Amazon Friday. “Reasons To Vote For Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide,” by Michael J. Knowles, the website's number one bestseller, contains nothing but a title, a table of contents and a bibliography.

“What’s really great about this book, you can go cover-to-cover in about 15, 20 seconds,” Knowles told Fox and Friends Thursday.

The book has been billed on Amazon as “The most exhaustively researched and coherently argued Democrat Party apologia to date,” “a political treatise sure to stand the test of time” and “a must have addition to any political observer’s coffee table.”

Knowles, a correspondent for conservative website the Daily Wire, published the book this week.

“It took a very long time to research this book,” he told Fox and Friends. “I’ve been observing the Democratic Party for at least 10 years now and when I observed their record and reasons to vote for them – on reasons of economics or foreign policy or homeland security or civil rights and so on – I realized it was probably best to just leave all the pages blank.”

As of Friday, the book had 4.6 out of five stars from reviewers.

“If Democrats copied and pasted the contents of this book into their national platform they could become unstoppable,” read one of the reviews.

“Exhaustive, yet concise treatment of the reasons to vote for Democrats. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it as a teaching tool for any potential voter. This book is truly unparalleled,” said another.

“RIVETING!” Another reader wrote. “It is an amazing look into the democratic party and their plan. A real page turner that will keep you up at night! Recommended reading for those who are sitting on the fence about their political affiliation.”
