Red Carpet Appearances At The 47th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards (PHOTOS)

At the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards held in Las Vegas April 1, 2012, stars shone in their elaborate red-carpet ensembles.

From the sleek floor-length white dress with gold details adorned by singer Taylor Swift to Randi Rahm's liquid gold sequin and stone gown worn by Miranda Lambert, the 2012 award red carpet was a star-studded glittering extravaganza.

Featuring as the hosts of this year's ACM awards were Reba and Blake Shelton while the other stars who strutted their stuff on the red carpet included the Band Perry, the Eli Young Band, Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, who had on a silver-detailed strapless nude-colored dress.

Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, on the other hand, came dressed in a custom Max Azria dress. She described the color as watermelon jolly rancher.

Other stars on hand at the event include names such as Nicole Kidman, Marc Anthony and LL Cool J.

Founded in the year 1964, the ACM awards sought to promote country music honoring the biggest names and emerging talent in the industry.
