'Red Table Talk': When To Watch Olivia Jade, Lori Loughlin's Daughter, Explain Scandal
Olivia Jade Giannulli will be speaking out about her parent’s involvement in the college admissions scandal on the “Red Table Talk” on Tuesday.
“Red Table Talk” is a Facebook Watch show that’s hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris. The three bring celebrities on the show to talk about more tough topics.
Olivia is the daughter of Lori Loughlin, who starred in "Full House," and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, who are both currently serving time in prison after pleading guilty to multiple fraud charges.
The 21-year-old announced the news on a promo on Instagram on Monday. She hasn’t shared her opinion or thoughts on the matter since her parents were sentenced.
“I’ve watched the show and I think you guys are all amazing and it feels really safe. But it also feels honest and feels like we’re really going to lay it all out here and it’s going to be an open conversation,” she said.
She’s received thousands of comments on the promo, with fans, friends and family announcing how proud they are of her and giving her props for being so brave.
“Proud of you, definitely will be watching,” one follower said.
“Atta girl. Can’t wait to hear your story!” another commented.
Olivia’s parents paid a total of $500,000 in bribes to get her and her sister, Bella Giannulli, into the University of Southern California. They tried to hide it through an idea of the girls being recruits for the school’s crew team.
Both pleaded not guilty at first, but that changed by the end of the trial.
Lori ended up pleading guilty to the conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, while Mossimo pled guilty to the conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud, as well as honest services wire and mail fraud.
Lori is serving a two-month prison sentence at the Dublin FCI in California and might be released right before Christmas. Mossimo is serving a five-month sentence at FCI Lompoc.
The show will be available on Facebook Watch, Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 12 p.m. EST.
