Reese Witherspoon, Husband Jim Toth Unite Amid Crumbling Marriage Rumors

Reese Witherspoon and husband Jim Toth had their 8th wedding anniversary on March 26. To prove all the rumors and reports claiming that there’s trouble in paradise for the two of them, the couple recently put on a united front and stepped out with the actress’ son in Los Angeles.

On Thursday, Witherspoon was all smiles when she was photographed walking the streets of the City of Angels with Toth and Deacon Phillippe, 15, her son with ex-husband and “Cruel Intentions” co-star Ryan Phillippe.

The trio definitely looked very happy while they were chatting on their way to grab lunch. Witherspoon’s son was carrying two brown bags from Kreation Organic Juicery. On the other hand, Reese and Jim walked close to each other. One snap released by Daily Mail even shows the actress holding on to the talent agent’s right arm.

It wasn’t clear why the couple did not bring their son Tennessee James, 6, with them during the outing. Witherspoon’s daughter with Phillippe, Ava Elizabeth, 19, was also not around.

Witherspoon and Toth’s marriage has been plagued by several rumors recently. A number of tabloid magazines have published stories, claiming the husband and wife are on the verge of putting an end to their marriage due to many problems.

However, the couple shut down the rumors when they were spotted heading out for a date on Tuesday night in Santa Monica. They had an intimate dinner at Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi and they were photographed looking very happy while exiting the establishment.

Two days prior, the “Big Little Lies” star was seen showing her support to Toth when he joined the 26-mile LA Marathon. Reese was captured on camera wearing a sporty get-up while making her way to the venue with all three of her children.

From the looks of things, there’s no reason to believe that Jim and Reese, who turned 43 on March 22, are struggling with their marriage. Earlier this month, the two even went out to attend a retro-themed costume party with some of their closest pals and they definitely had a great time based on their social media posts.

Meanwhile, REELZ’s documentary “Reese Witherspoon: The Price of Fame,” which aired earlier this month, examined the actress’ ill-fated relationship with her ex-husband. It also revisited Witherspoon’s drunken arrest with Toth and how she managed to rebound her career following the controversy that tainted her image as America’s Sweetheart.
