Reese Witherspoon's 'Adult Daughter' Ava Phillippe Turns 22, Actress Pays Tribute

Reese Witherspoon's daughter Ava Phillippe turned 22 Thursday and the actress took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute.

To mark the occasion, the 45-year-old actress shared a solo photo of her daughter, posing in front of a shimmering golden curtain.

In the photo, Ava could be seen wearing a green sleeveless top and a golden necklace around her neck. She kept her hair open and smiled at the camera.

Witherspoon captioned the photo, "Happy Birthday to my sweet little girl…excuse me… I mean my adult daughter!!!"

"Words can’t describe how proud I am of you," she added. "You have grown into an extraordinary person who cares so much about the world around her. I am so lucky to have you light up my life. I love you, Ava!! ___ @avaphillippe #thisis22."

Celebrities took to the comments section to share their wishes.

British actress Jodie Turner-Smith noted in the comments that at the first glance she thought it is Witherspoon, before wishing Ava on her birthday. Actress Viola Davis also praised Ava's looks and wrote, "Awww.....a beauty."

Before adding the "Adult Daughter" post, the actress also shared a black and white photo of her daughter as a kid. "This person is turning 22 today… _," she captioned the photo.

Witherspoon shares Ava and Deacon, 17, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. The actress has one more son, Tennessee James Toth, 8, with her current husband, talent agent Jim Toth.

On the work front, the actress will be next seen in a rom-com, "Anything for Love or Mine," which is currently under post-production. She will also feature in "Legally Blonde 3," "Wish List" and "Tinker Bell."
