President Barack Obama Celebrates His 51st Birthday With Golf, Job Growth

President Obama is one of the youngest presidents in history, coming in only behind Ulysses S. Grant, Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy and Bill Clinton. The 44th president is spending his birthday golfing and having dinner with the first lady at Camp David. He'll attend fundraising events across the country in the next few days in an attempt to make sure this won't be his last birthday in the White House.

German WWII Submarine Discovered Off Nantucket Coast

A German submarine was found 70 miles south of Nantucket Island after almost 70 years of sitting on the bottom of the ocean. U-550 was sunk after it torpedoed an American tanker, which led to depth charges from the USS Joyce. The crew abandoned ship and now researchers plan to tell the families of the casualties the exact location of their loved ones' resting place.

Tony Sly, Of Punk Band No Use For A Name, Dead At 41

Sly was prepping the release of his second solo album when Fat Wreck Chords announced Wednesday the No Use for A Name singer had died. The cause of death hasn't been released, although the punk rocker gave an interview last month when he complained about back pain and mixing prescription drugs and alcohol.
