While several restaurants hold promotions and deals for free food and discounts all year long, the giveaway from this California burger chain may have customers thinking twice before they participate.

Farmer Boys, a farm-table burger shop, is offering a year of free burgers to anyone that is willing to get a permanent tattoo to commemorate the restaurant’s 40th anniversary.

Interested customers can choose between three tattoo designs – the company’s logo and a burger, a Farmer Boys truck hauling a burger, and a burger and the words “I love FarmerBoys.” Designs measure 2 inches by 2 inches.

The deadline to sign up to get inked on the Farmer Boys’ website is May 21. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter.

Tattoo appointments are subject to availability, with Farmer Boys saying in an Instagram post, “Due to the sheer volume of request, not all who send a query will receive an appointment.”

Farmer Boys will provide one free burger a week to those that receive a tattoo for a total of 52 weeks.

Tattoos will be inked for free as Farmer Boys has partnered up with the West Hollywood tattoo parlor The Honorable Society and Las Vegas’ Rockin’ Ink Tattoo.

To further promote its 40th anniversary, Farmer Boys said it will also give out free temporary tattoos with any in-store purchase. Those that share their temporary tattoos on social media will be entered to win a free burger from the chain.
