‘Return To Amish’ Spoilers: 3 Things To Expect From Episode 2
Just because half of the original cast isn’t around doesn’t mean the drama is any less intense on “Return to Amish,” and on Season 7, Episode 2, the situations that Jeremiah Raber, Sabrina High and Mama Mary Schmucker face will be difficult to handle.
The TLC series is once again following their stories, while also introducing fans to the newest members of the cast, Lowell, Dawn and Shelly. Fans saw in the premiere episode as Jeremiah worked to get the three out of their Amish and Mennonite lives so they could join him in his new business. Now, in the next episode of the show, the three will quickly learn what life might be like on the other side. In addition, new struggles and revelations will take Sabrina and Mary by storm as well.
Here are three things to expect in the newest episode.
Mary Is Hoping To Reunite With Her Family
Once again, Mama Mary is hoping to get back into her Amish church, which is coming with a whole set of struggles for her. Her biggest one, she admits in a preview clip, is the fact that one of her children who stayed Amish has refused to speak with her for years. She reveals that she is allowed to be in the community and still communicate with her children who left the Amish, but she wants to be able to reunite with all of them.
Sabrina Gets A Shock
Sabrina appears to be stunned by a new revelation in a preview clip. She admits that she was told by her grandmother that her mother had killed herself many years before. However, she learns in the new episode that was a lie—and that could have a huge impact on her future.
The New Kids Struggle To Adapt
Jeremiah shares in a clip that kids who first leave the Amish and Mennonite communities either act very reserved when they venture into the English world or wind up going crazy and out of control with their partying. As it turns out, it appears this will cause some conflict in the group when they head to a nightclub, as Lowell seems to be enjoying himself immensely—but Shelly wants to go home.
“Return to Amish” airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
