While struggling to cope with his new discoveries, the doctor also crosses paths with Nic, and the latter reminds him that as long as one’s heart is good, he could definitely go a long way in the medical field.
According to TV Line, “The Resident” Season 1 also stars “90210” alum Manish Dayal, “The People v. O.J. Simpson” alum Bruce Greenwood and “Billions” star Shaunette Wilson. “Resident” is hailed from writers Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore and Roshan Sethi. Phillip Noyce directed the pilot, and Jones, Oly Obst and Antoine Faqua will act as executive producers, according to Variety.
As of late, FOX has not yet announced the official release date for “The Resident” Season 1. But it has already been revealed that the first episode will air sometime midseason. The network has also dropped a teaser for the new series which introduces the major characters in the show.
In the clip, Nic and Conrad are in the middle of an intense makeout session while at the hospital. The two characters, who are both very dedicated to their job, will also face struggles in their personal lives. In one of the scenes, Conrad tells the young doctor that he mistakenly killed a young girl suffering from cancer after he gave her a wrong dosage of potassium. Conrad reiterates that in their job, they sometimes kill people without wanting to.
