’Tis the season for “Revenge”! The hit ABC series' last episode before Christmas airs Sunday, Dec. 7. And according to photos from the Season 4 midseason finale, “Atonement” will be anything but jolly.

Images from episode 10 tease that Emily (Emily VanCamp) and her father, David (James Tupper), will join forces -- daddy/daughter style -- in the winter finale of “Revenge.” While their mission remains an enigma for fans, it’s safe to theorize it has something to do with Jack’s (Nick Wechsler) new girlfriend, Agent Kate Taylor (Courtney Ford).

In episode 9 it was revealed that Jack’s relationship with the agent was budding into something more than just solving murder mysteries. But their romance will be put on hold when Jack is forced to choose between Emily and “the new woman in his life.”

How did Jack find himself between a rock and a hard place? Maybe it has something to do with his current crush working side by side with David’s archenemy, Malcolm Black. It looks like Emily will be doing everything in her power to make Kate’s holiday season as blue -- and wet -- as possible. Gotta love Nolan (Gabriel Mann) “accidentally” spilling his drink on the devious agent in the promo photos.

TVLine pointed out that in all the Season 4 winter finale images a few characters appear to be notably absent. Daniel (Joshua Bowman) and Margaux (Karine Vanasse) are both missing from the midseason finale pictures, as is Victoria (Madeline Stowe). Could the trio’s disappearance have something to do with the rumors of a character death? A promo video for episode 10 teased that someone from “Revenge” wouldn’t be making it to the new year.
