‘Revenge’ Season 4 Spoilers: Will Emily Kill Victoria? Sneak-Peek Video Teases Series Finale Death
After four, dramatic seasons, “Revenge” will finally be coming to an end on Sunday. And according to a sneak-peek clip of the series finale, the hit ABC thriller will conclude with a bang -- literally.
In the teaser for the final episode titled “Two Graves,” audiences can watch as Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Victoria (Madeline Stowe) come face-to-face for the first time since the Grayson matriarch’s alleged death. (Victoria had faked her demise and pinned the murder on Emily, thanks to the help of some friends.)
In the minute and a half-long clip, fans learn that Emily figured out a way to escape from jail so that she could catch up with the villainous socialite who has caused so much pain in her life.
“Hello, Victoria,” she says to the woman dressed in white before pointing a loaded gun at her head.
But, of course, Victoria has a few last words to share before she meets her fate.
“Before you fire please know that like your televised assassination, your real one, will be there for all the world to see,” the cunning Hamptonite begins. “I installed these cameras when I heard that you had escaped because I knew you would find your way here.”
Victoria says that once Emily pulls the trigger, she’d be locked up for good. “But you never really have been able to [pull the trigger], have you?” she antagonizes David’s (James Tupper) daughter.
“For once you’re right about something, Victoria,” Em says with a sting. The vengeance-seeking character explains that unlike her arch nemesis, she's never killed anyone. “I believed that the people who hurt my family deserved to live in agony -- not pay with their lives. But you, you are the one exception. For you, death is my only true revenge.”
It seems like Emily has nothing left to lose at this point. Could it be because both her father and Jack (Nick Wechsler) have been killed off in the final episode? (We've theorized a few of the character's deaths HERE.)
With tears in her eyes, Emily says goodbye to the woman who has wreaked so much havoc in her life. As the clip goes black, a gunshot is heard.
Do you think Emily killed Victoria? Fans will find out when “Revenge” airs its series finale on Sunday, May 10, at 10 p.m. EDT.
