The latest spoilers for "Re:Zero - Starting Life In Another World" Episode 3, named "The Long-awaited Reunion," hints at Echidna and Subaru’s confrontation. The promo trailer opens with Subaru and Echidna at a tea party. However, for some reason, Subaru looks upset and starts to bang the table. Soon, Echidna shows her true colors.

Toward the end of the promo trailer, fans get to see Ram for the first time in the current season. It is the long-awaited Ram and Rem reunion. After the attack, Rem remains unconscious and fans are hoping she will be back in action in the new episode.

The stakes are high in the current season as the new witch is as powerful as other Witches of Sin introduced in the debut episode of the second season.

In the last episode, Emilia, Subaru, Rem and others bid goodbye to Crusch as they need to get the villagers back home.

However, when they reach the village, they find out Ram and others haven’t returned from the Sanctuary. Later, they decide to head back to the mansion. Subaru is shocked to see Frederica at the mansion.

The episode ends with Subaru finally meeting the Witch of Greed, Echidna. She says she has been waiting for him.
