'RHOC' Star Braunwyn Windham-Burke's Younger Kids Think Her Girlfriend Is Just A Friend, Report Says

Days after coming out as gay, “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s PDA-packed photos with her rumored girlfriend are surfacing. However, some of her kids don't understand that she and the woman are dating, a report says.

After Windham-Burke came out as a lesbian in an interview with GLAAD last week, she took to Instagram to share a snap of her and another woman, who she didn’t name. Reports claimed that the person in the photo was her girlfriend and that the mystery lady’s name is Kris.

Unnamed sources told TMZ that Windham-Burke and her husband Sean Burke's younger kids don't understand that their mom and Kris are dating and think they are just friends. The older ones, however, are aware that their mother has a girlfriend.

Braunwyn and Sean have been married for two decades and share seven children: Bella, 20, Rowan, 18, Jacob, 15, twins Caden and Curran, 7, Koa, 4, and Hazel, 2.

The reality star and her husband will remain married despite her coming out and having a new partner. But Kris has reportedly met Sean and even joined them on family dinners with the kids, per the report.

TMZ also published photos of the couple out on a date at Conservatory in West Hollywood back in November. One of the pictures showed Windham-Burke and her girlfriend, who were both wearing sunglasses, kissing.

The PDA pictures of Windham-Burke and her new lady love were taken before California went into lockdown, the report said. The photos were also labeled Nov. 3, weeks before the reality star’s interview was released.

The couple reportedly met on a dating app in September and have been seeing each other since.

Although Windham-Burke and her girlfriend don't appear to be shying away from cameras, insiders told TMZ that fans will not see their romance in “RHOC” Season 15 since Kris came around after the cast wrapped up filming.

Meanwhile, Windham-Burke earlier revealed that though it took her 42 years to come out as gay, she has long known that she likes women. However, it was only recently that she felt comfortable revealing it to the world.

“I'm a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now. I'm so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice,” she said.
