- Staub urged Bravo to stop “glorifying criminals” and paying Giudice millions to do the show
Former “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Danielle Staub slammed Teresa Giudice in her Instagram rant that originally targeted Bravo.
The 58-year-old television personality recently took to Instagram to promote the new Hulu documentary, “The Housewife and the Hustler,” which mainly stars Tom Girardi and Erika Jayne. Apparently, Staub, who was a main cast member of the show during the first two seasons, is part of the film as she did an interview for it.
Staub shared a clip teasing her interview where she seemingly got candid about the ladies of her former reality series. Though the teaser did not reveal much on what she’s going to say, her caption for the post said it all as she attacked her former co-star and the network.
“Personally I find it all extremely disheartening! Yet here we are @bravotv continues to support the Real crimes of Housewives Franchise. This isn’t entertainment! it’s the lie Bravo tells you to create a storyline. Which ironically is not reality,” she started her post.
Staub went on to criticize the network for allegedly manipulating the truth instead of “allowing reality to be the storyteller.” She explained that the show tweaked Giudice’s storyline in the first season of “RHONJ” because they couldn’t show her Lincoln Park home since it was “old, filthy and anything but luxurious.”
The “Naked Truth” author did not hold back as she called out Bravo for “glorifying criminals” like Giudice. It can be noted that Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice were previously incarcerated on charges of mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud, as per People.
“#Bravo STOP paying millions to #teresagiudice a known Criminal and A convicted felon guilty of 42 CT’s of fraud. Stop glorifying the criminals!” Staub wrote before finally adding that should Bravo continue to pay the cast to promote their fake lives, “so many crimes against society will be committed.”
Many of Staub’s fans quickly expressed their support to her and voiced how proud they were of her for always being so honest and upfront about everything.
“So happy you’re speaking your truth and being honest as always,” one wrote.
“Danielle always kept it real and showed real life, not manufactured,” another commented.
Meanwhile, Giudice has yet to respond to Staub’s statements against her. The “RHONJ” star is currently more focused on her romance with new boyfriend Luis Ruelas. Earlier this week, she showed off on social media how perfect she and Ruelas are for each other, saying the businessman gives her the “best hugs.”
