Joe Giudice paid a sweet tribute to his estranged wife Teresa Giudice on Mother’s Day.
Joe did not forget the mother of his four daughters on Sunday (May 10). He shared a video on Instagram to celebrate Mother’s Day. The clip features Teresa and their four children, Gia, 19; Gabriella, 15; Milania, 14; and Audriana, 10.
“I want to start by telling you how thankful I am for you,” Joe wrote in the caption.
“I will never be able to say it enough times; THANK YOU. Thank you for everything. I know while I’m not around You will always do whatever needs to be done to make sure our girls are safe. You are a beautiful and wonderful mother. I will always be grateful to you.”
In April, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star’s deportation appeal was denied. The decision came months after Joe was deported to Italy and after he was imprisoned for 41 months over wire fraud and bankruptcy fraud charges. He was heartbroken following the court’s decision.
According to Joe, it was his final appeal. He was very sad because he could no longer visit his four daughters in the U.S.
“As I proceeded with caution, hoping to win the judge’s sympathy. I was hoping to come home to my girls. Today, According to U.S immigration I was told I will never step foot in America again,” he told The Hollywood Gossip.
Joe didn’t want to hear those dreadful words because for him, he belongs in America with his family and not in Italy. Joe was born in Italy, but he was brought to the U.S. when he was still a baby. He grew up as an American and spent his entire life there.
Also, Joe and his daughters were supposed to meet last month, but their Easter reunion did not happen due to the coronavirus pandemic. His daughters were forced to cancel their trip.
Joe was very emotional when he talked about their supposed reunion on social media. According to him, “Special occasions are the hardest without them it feels emptier and less joyful.”
“My heart breaks for anyone who is going through not seeing their kids, wife, parents, or loss. This has taught me to be grateful and humbled by all my experiences it reinforced the idea of never taking anything for granted, especially my babies,” he wrote.
