‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Guidice’s Husband Joe To Be Transferred To Pennsylvania Prison
Teresa Guidice’s husband, Joe Guidice, will be transferred from the Federal Correctional Institution at Fort Dix, New Jersey to a prison in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.
According to the documents obtained by The Blast, the 45-year-old patriarch was the one who made the transfer request, but it was denied “as a result of a detainer placed by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.” Joe was born and raised in Italy and may be deported after he completes his prison stint.
But in the coming weeks, he will be transferred to Pennsylvania where he could also attend hearings on his immigration status. Joe began his 41-month sentence in March 2016 after he was found guilty of mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. His wife also served almost a year in jail for the same crimes.
Last month, the “RHONJ” star opened up to People about her plans after Joe gets out of prison and finally reunites with them. “To tell you the truth, I don’t know what’s going to happen. I mean, do I see Joe and me together in ten years? Do I see us growing old together? I don’t know. Maybe. Maybe not. He’ll always be a part of my life, because he’s the father of my children; that I can say for sure. You just never know what’s going to happen. Life is a roller coaster, and you have to ride the highs and the lows all the time,” she explained.
Since Joe left their house, Guidice also struggled with raising their four children all by herself. Her 16-year-old daughter, Gia, recently questioned her mom’s parenting style in a recent episode of “Real Housewives of New Jersey.” In the installment, Gia called out her mom for not imposing rule and boundaries on her younger siblings.
At one point, Gia also compared her mom and dad’s parenting style and said that Joe is stricter. “When you came home, you don’t discipline much because I feel like you’re scared we’re going to hate you,” the teen said. But Guidice explained that she grew up with strict parents and don’t want her kids to experience the same thing.
