There are three Spider-Man movie series that brought Peter Parker to the big screen in the last 20 years. And each lead actor offered something different to the audience, but who is the richest among them?

Although the films have been highly successful, each actor was reportedly paid differently for several reasons.

The three Spider-Man actors are all millionaires to date, but actor-producer Tobey Maguire is the richest with his $75 million net worth, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Maguire reportedly earned $4 million in “Spider-Man 1,” in 2002. The film made $820 million at the box office.

For “Spider-Man 2,” which raked in $784 million, the actor reportedly received a salary of $17.5 million and 5% of the film's box office gross.

The third film in the trilogy, “Spider-Man 3,” which came out in 2007, grossed a whopping $890 million, making it the most successful film in the series. Maguire received a smaller salary of $15 million for the film but with an even larger piece of the backend at 7.5%.

Due to the success of Spider-Man, Maguire became one of the highest-paid actors in the world in the 2000s, with single movie paychecks routinely topping $15 million.

With a net worth of $18 million, English actor and dancer Tom Holland is currently the second richest among the three actors who played the role of the webslinger superhero.

International Business Times reported earlier that the actor, who portrayed the character in several Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including the most recent “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” earned millions since 2016 when he first appeared as Peter Parker in “Captain America: Civil War.”

The actor received a base salary of $250,000 for his first film as Spider-Man. But his earnings increased further through the years, especially after the release of “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” in 2017.

Holland reportedly earned a $500,000 base salary for the first film in the franchise. His paycheck from the second film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” was not disclosed, but the actor likely received a big one because the film made over $1 billion at the box office, becoming the top-grossing “Spider-Man” film so far, according to Forbes.

At present, his standard base salary for a single film appearance is $4-$5 million.

British-American actor Andrew Garfield is in third place with a net worth of $13 million.

Garfield played Spider-Man in the 2012 "The Amazing Spider-Man” and the 2014 “The Amazing Spider-Man 2."

He was reportedly paid $500,000 for the first film, which brought in a worldwide gross of $757.9 million and $1 million for the second film, which made $709 million worldwide.
